The May SBYC Log has been posted to the "members-only" section of the
SBYC website!
SMALL
BOAT PROGRAM ORIENTATION, Saturday, May 7th
SBYC Small Boat Program (Ideal 18) Orientation and Certification will
be held on Saturday, May 7th at 1pm at the Club. Members experienced with
sailing the Ideal 18s will get updated on new policies and procedures,
while program "newbies" can get checked out and certified at this afternoon

/ NEW MEMBER DINNER, Saturday, May 14th, 6pm
Make your dinner reservations early for our Spring
/ New Member Dinner, Saturday May 14th. We'll be introducing and
honoring our new members, and we'll have a special contest with prizes
to reward our established members for turning to get to know our new additions!

Membership Committee
HELP WANTED
HELP! Membership Committee needs new members to help support the club.
Specific assistance desired includes the need for a Committee Secretary
to assist with data entry, list maintenance, report generation, meeting
minute recording and reporting. Assistance is also desired to help us communicate
with and process member requests for leave of absence, resignations, change
in member status, etc. We're always looking for help with membership committee
projects, initiatives, and efforts, including recruiting, special event
planning and staffing, advertising, marketing, promotion, etc. Anyone
with a desire to “pitch in” can help!
