2010 CHALLENGE CUP RESULTS
Thanks to all the participants that came from all our sister clubs including Pultneyville, Oswego, and Rochester (RYC & GYC), who made this year's regatta a success!

2010 CENTRALS REGATTA
at SBYC, July 9th - 11th
The Central New York Sailing Association will once again hold it's annual "Centrals Regatta" at Sodus Bay Yacht Club, in cooperation with the Sodus Bay Junior Sailing Association. The CNYSA supports racing for both junior and master levels for small boat classes, including Optimist Prams, Lasers, Lightnings, Ideal 18s, 420s, snipes, etc. Pre-registration begins Friday evening, July 9th, with racing on Satuurday and Sunday.

SBYCs race fleet was busy over Memorial Day weekend, changing headsails with strong variable winds on Saturday, and moving deliberately through an absolutely gorgeous 10 knots or less Chamber-of-Commerce Sunday.

To get out with the fleet to enjoy the fun, camaraderie, and competition of SBYC sail racing, members should check in with SBYC PHRF-ectionist Fran Doyle (dolcevitainport@hotmail.com) to get your boat's PHRF rating, or if you're already "PHRF-ected" your water ride, just show up at the Clubhouse at 9am Sunday and ask for Fran and/or Fleet Captain Mike Thurley.
